![]() If you're having problems playing solo, there are entire sections of the forum dedicated to forming up crews and helping each other out. I'd almost always get a response from someone. You just have to know how to use them properly and to your best advantage.Īnd you know what I did in WoW when I would be ganked or grave camped by high level players? I'd go into the chat and ask for an escort. ![]() If you want to avoid all PvP that's fine, you're given all the tools to do that. And believe it or not that's a majority of the PvP community in this game.Īnd the truth of the matter is if you're constantly being killed out at sea, you very much do need to "git gud". I don't want to waste it on endlessly killing someone who either has no chance of beating me or where there's no reward for my beating them (in this regard treasures).Ī real, avid PvP player seeks challenge, not easy pickings. I like PvP, but I definitely don't grief. Just like MMO's where the high level players spend all their time in the low level zone trolling newbies and telling them to 'git gud' cuz yeah a lvl 10 starter is really gonna 1v1 a lvl 80 toon and come out on attributing the actions of about 5% of the total player base to half of the people playing the game. PvP crowd don't want a win/win situation, they just want to grief unsuspecting PvE players and run from PvP battles when they aren't heavily stacked in their favor. I like my PvE co-op and my PvP balanced and fair, with no grubby play involved.īecause you dont like solving riddles, therefore NO ONE else should right? Because you like calling someone the F word on chat and attacking their ship repeatedly while they do a skeleton fort, we all should? My gripe is, I dislike games that blend PvE and PvP since all they turn into is toxic griefer fests. So pretty much, cyber bully anyone providing feedback on their request for PvE and THEN pretend you're the most chill community around. and THEN after harassing them and belittling them they'll be like 'I don't see any toxicity in this community, this is a fun and fair community and PvP just happens to be in the game' They just don't want human griefing.Īnd when PvE players complain, the PvP community tell them git gud, you got the wrong game, you're a noob, go cry more, go elsewhere carebear. People are asking for PvE and for a greater challenge in PvE, more AI enemies, harder AI, more bosses. What i don't understand is how some people buy a game, knowing what it is, then decide it's too hard for them and asking for in effect a different game.ĭo you like, think the Witcher 3 is an easy game because it's PvE only?Īll I see is a PvP crowd spitting venom calling people who enjoy PvE crybabies, care bears, noobs and 'git gud' I prefer co op gameplay, but still dip into PVP occasionally.Īll I requested was that people are allowed to be heard, rather then shouted down because you and others don't said in Can we please stop asking for PvE only servers?: I don't mind the PVP now and then, I'm more biased towards PVE and chilling with friends than battling others, for the same reason I don't play team deathmatch much or other PVP modes in other games. You sure you don't want to add Carebear server in there somewhere too?.Įveryone's comments and opinions are equal, so rather than being confrontational, be an adult and accept that not everyone share the same views or play the game in exactly the same way. ![]() I won't be going anywhere.Īnd there it is, the ship simulator comment. Because SoT is designed as a PvE/PvP blend at its core and to segregate that would diminish Rare's goal.Īnd I paid the full $80 price tag for this game. If you want a game that is quaintly sailing your ship unabated in the open sea, then you may want to look into Ship Simulator 2018. The games crux is not the PvP, it's the severe lack of content in the game. Said in Can we please stop asking for PvE only Since Rare has already declared there is absolutely zero chance of it happening? No.
